Print Production with Targeted Resource Use
Wherever production happens, CO2 is generated – no matter how large or small the print run. As a print shop, we can't prevent that either. However, together with our partner ClimatePartner, we offer you the option to support internationally recognized climate protection projects through a financial contribution. Please note: this monetary climate contribution does not make the print product climate-neutral. The climate protection projects themselves, however, aim to reduce CO2, promote biodiversity, and contribute to social and infrastructure development worldwide.
At printworld.com, we're aware of how important it is to use resources responsibly. That's why we've long relied on what are known as "processless printing plates." Unlike conventional printing plates, these no longer need to be chemically processed and washed out after exposure. This saves chemical developer, water, and energy. It also eliminates the need to dispose of spent chemicals, reducing the environmental impact.
We rely on the gang-run printing process. Using a sophisticated algorithm, multiple orders are combined onto a single print sheet and produced together. Above all, this saves one thing: paper.
When it comes to ink, printworld.com relies on bio-based inks made from renewable raw materials such as tree resins and vegetable oils. By using bio-based inks, we also support the exclusion policy of the European Printing Ink Association (EuPIA), which aims to avoid toxic and health-hazardous substances.
