The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) will come into force on 13 December 2024. This regulation is intended to ensure that all products offered for sale within the European Union meet strict safety standards. The aim is to ensure that all necessary warnings, safety information and instructions for use are provided to consumers in a clear and comprehensible manner.
We at printworld.com GmbH guarantee that our printed products are classified as safe in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2023/988. When used as intended and in a foreseeable way, our products pose no or only minimal risks to the health and safety of our customers.
We have tested and assessed the safety of our products and the packaging materials we use in terms of their physical, mechanical and chemical properties. The following applies:
Our products are packed in sturdy cardboard boxes. When opening, there is a general risk of cutting the edges. Larger orders are often shipped on pallets. As a result of the high physical demands placed on them during logistical processes (transport and storage), the wooden pallets may splinter. There is also a risk of splinters penetrating the skin. Protective work clothing is therefore essential when handling wooden pallets. To ensure safe transport, the packages are wrapped in film. This can pose a choking hazard for small children.
This risk applies in particular to printed products made of paper. These include: flyers, leaflets, brochures, business cards, letterheads, printed sheets, posters, blocks, desk pads, carbonless copy sets, sticky notes, note boxes incl. contents, calendars, presentation folders, envelopes, postcards and folding cards, roll-ups, beer mats, paper carrier bags – in other words, primarily paper products.
