Print Z Fold Leaflets

The leaflet with "leporello" or concertina fold got its name from a character in Mozart's famous opera "Il dissoluto punito ossia Il Don Giovanni", or "Don Giovanni" for short. Don Giovanni's servant, Leporello, always kept a list of the women his master had seduced. At one point the list got so long that Leporello devised a clever way of folding. From then on he folded the list in concertina style. This meant that the names of all the women could be accommodated without any problems and the list was still quick and simple to store. This technique is also called zigzag folding or z-fold because of this way of pleating.

To produce a zigzag fold leaflet, a sheet of paper is folded parallel in alternating directions. This creates the distinctive zigzag pattern. Folding the sheet twice, for example, results in six printable pages (2-fold zigzag fold). Two pages are added with every subsequent fold. We go up to six folds (6-break zigzag fold), thus creating up to 14 freely designable pages.

If you want it to feel more classy, we recommend a heavier, higher quality paper. Whether in glossy or matt, on offset or coated art paper - concertina fold leaflets are available on a wide range of different papers in weights from 80g to 300g.
