Printing, pressing, punching, folding, perforating, hole punching, ... It has to go through many stages on its journey from a slim sheet of paper to a handsome calendar.
Twelve months, nine models, three designs, one calendar – the monthly calendar from printworld.com.
Don't see all of these calendar models on our site? Don't be surprised, you're eyes still work and there's no error with your computer or our system. If you can't find everything that should be there, it's because the model you want is out of stock. Since monthly calendars are true blockbusters, as such they are in high demand and sell out quickly. But have no fear: They are guaranteed to be available again next calendar season.
Not all monthly calendars are created equal. Depending on how many months you want to be displayed simultaneously, your online print shop printworld.com offers you the choice of 3, 4 or 5-month calendars. Other decisive factors: How much advertising space do you need? Is one block enough, or do you need a few more? And how can it be hung on the wall? All of these questions will ultimately determine which version is best suited to you.
The third version of the monthly calendars is at heart also a multi-block calendar. However, in this case, the individual calendar blocks are attached to the backboard using a Wire-O binding rather than a punched block holder. And don't forget: In terms of advertising space, the Wire-O bound monthly calendar can't be beat: 330 x 195 millimetres on the top and three times 330 x 45 millimetres on the bottom and between the blocks.
The thing that all models have in common is the material: Creative advertising happens on solid bleached sulphate (SBS) board.
SBS board used in all of the calendars from your online print shop printworld.com can be described in four words: coated front, uncoated back. But let's start at the front. First of all, the base material is cardboard. Paper weights from about 150g upwards are referred to as cardboard. With 305g or 355g (per block), SBS board makes a very sturdy material for monthly calendars. And this receives a coating on one side - hence the word "chromo" - which "smoothes" the surface of the material and brings out colours especially well. After all, your design should shine. The uncoated reverse side, on the other hand, remains rougher; but just to be clear, it will only face the wall.
A calendar wouldn't be a calendar without the date. Whether single block, multi-block or Wire-O bound version, we all agree on what a calendar essentially is: Days, weeks and months displayed on 70g offset paper. A built-in red date slider makes sure that the current day is always seen first. Calendars are also multilingual by default. For single block calendars, the calendar is displayed in the three languages German, English and French; Spanish is added as a fourth language for multi-block and Wire-O bound monthly calendars. An overview of public holidays is also included: international holidays such as the First of May are marked as such. And when you get to the end of a month, tear-off tabs ensure that you can "turn the page" to the next one: A tear-off perforation enables the individual calendar sheets to be neatly separated - from the individual calendar block in the case of single block monthly calendars, to the individually perforated calendar blocks in the multi-block version. With the Wire-O bound model, the monthly pages can simply be removed from the eponymous binding.
There is indeed. Whether three, four or five months; whether single block, multi-block or Wire-O bound version; whatever the format: Sending monthly calendars flat can be a challenge for senders, couriers and recipients. This is why your online printer printworld.com sends all calendar models with optimal C4 or B4 shipping, depending on the size. The back of the calendar is creased several times to make this possible.
All calendar models are equipped with a metal mounting eyelet as standard. This means the calendar can immediately take its place on the wall after unpacking.
Safety is a top priority for the monthly calendar. What we mean by this is the safety clearance. Top edge, bottom edge, mounting, folded area and calendar blocks - all of these require additional space, which must be taken into account when creating the print file. We have compiled detailed answers to the question "how much safety clearance do I have to allow for where?" in the fact sheets of the respective calendar models; you will find this information on the right-hand side of the calculation page, directly below the product image. And if you don't feel sufficiently informed, our customer service team awaits your call or email.
