Print Calendar Strips: The Slim Organisational Miracle.

Here I'd like to speak up for myself. To speak up for a neglected, forgotten, all-too-often overlooked member of the calendar clan. In short, for me, the calendar strip. My name alone ... after all, I am neither sportswear nor stripey. I am well aware that this is all about my shape. But to emphasise that I am more modest in size than my cousins the year planner, wall calendars and monthly calendars, one could have given me a more inviting name: "Skinny Calendar", "Date Indicator Size Zero" or, if you like, “Whisper-Thin Wall Planner". Creative marketing heads could certainly have come up with something more dashing. But since I can't wait that long for someone to make me a big shot, I'm taking matters into my own hands and doing my own advertising.

On that note, make way for me, the calendar strip. Even though I don't need much room.

Calendar Strip Seeks Partner for A Year.

With my ideal dimensions of 118 x 610 mm I am a real head-turner, which is why my maxim is "slim and slender on your wall". But I won't be blown away in the wind, with 400g backing board I have a strong spine despite my slim shape. This is the perfect backbone for my 110 front-end in black and red: By that I mean of course my calendar, what did you think?

What I have to offer on top? It's up to you, because my top 118 x 132 mm I keep free for you - here you can promote yourself, your company and your products or services on 305g solid bleached sulphate (SBS) board. I like it in colourful, I like it in 4/0 and I will let you surprise me!

Otherwise, I am very versatile and you can do a lot with me: You can annotate all of my 12 calendar pages (+ title) to your heart's content. And if we get along, I will dress up for you again after 12 months.

1. The first thing to think about is how many of me you want to have: 25 or 5,000 - how many walls can I plaster with my face?
2. My advertising space - i.e. the part that you design freely - is 132 mm long, but watch out: just 120 mm of it is visible. The advertising space is stapled to the bottom edge of the calendar. This is then folded over so that 12 mm disappears. You should therefore avoid placing your most vital message in this area, or anything else you don't want to be hidden from view.
3. The same applies to the top edge. There you should maintain a safety clearance of 14 mm from the edge. Why? Let me tell you...
4. … here and now. There is a perforation at the top for mounting. I have to get onto the wall and stay there somehow.
5. And speaking of safety clearance. This also applies to the sides, because apart from punching and folding, you should also leave space to the left, right and bottom, as manufacturing tolerances occur wherever cutting takes place. So allow 5 mm clearance everywhere, so that everything is within the green, i.e. visible, range.
6. You can leave your hat on ... Thanks to tear-off perforation, you can remove each calendar page as soon as the month has passed. This way you will gradually reach the last layer ...
7. So that you don't buy something sight unseen, I will send you a preview. This preview lands in your inbox after the data check. Don't be startled if it's not as sharp as expected: The preview is reduced to 72 dpi. Printing will still be done based on the provided resolution. This should be at least 250 dpi, or 1,200 dpi for line images.

9. Give me a bit of time. I naturally want everything to be perfect for you. And that takes a while. So please be patient, I need about two weeks to be delivered to you - 11 working days production time and one or two working days for delivery.
10. If you don't want me sent directly to you, but want to share me with your business partners and customers, you can also choose a "neutral delivery note". Otherwise, printworld.com will appear as the sender on the delivery note.
